Infinite Depth already came up to its tenth EP, which got provided by the Italian duo Fat Cosmoe. The ‘Dreameater’ EP is a collection of four tracks. Three originals and a remix by the also Italian Vomee. 
The title track ‘Dreameater’ will make you smile for sure and could be seen as the most delighted track of the label so far. A base of neat and tight drums are accompanied by a beautiful and catchy melody. Also an ear-catching divergent piece of piano play is put into the arrangement, which makes the track very interesting.

We're very happy to welcome @quarterx on Nu Boheme Recordings. With their first Single "Driving" the duo based in Münster make a great debut to the scene, showcasing their crossover of electronic beats with live elements. Producer Jannik Feld created a driving rhythm and atmospheric synth sound that perfectly complement the organic guitar lines and emotional vocals of Sophy West. Together they take you on a ride through a dirty and dusty road.

trndmsk: What inspired you to produce the track?

QuarterX: Nearly all of our tracks follow our QuarterX basic formula, where we try to combine pushing electronic beats with live elements. We always keep the possible live performance in mind, so naturally we used a funky guitar-riff as a starting point.
Our lyrics are often more or less abstract. In „Driving" Sophy tried to capture her experience she made on a road trip through Vietnam. We used a fast tempo to associate a wild ride through dust and difficult roads.

Where did you record it? And how?

We produced it in a typical small bedroom studio using ableton live and some basic recording gear, like probably many other newcomer artists. When the beat was set up for further steps we met for a brainstorming for potential vocals. Fortunately Sophy was very inspired by her Vientam trip, so we sat down, wrote the lyrics, put towels and a small mattress in the wardrobe and after about half an hour later the vocals were finished.

How did you get in contact with the record label?

We looked online for potential record labels using residentadvisor.net. Our main goal was finding a label with a suitable style and prefrerebly local, to cooperate quite closely and directly. Fortunately for us Münster is quite small and we found out, that we already had mutual friends with Tobias head of "Nu Boheme Recordings", which could provide us his contact info.

Whats up next after release?

Of course we keep making music. Also the next tracks are finished and set up for release. Next year we want to hit up some festivals with our live performance, including live guitar and vocals.

Are you working on other projects?

We are a crossover project, so both of us have their own background (project). Sophy is a singer/songwriter known as Sophy West and released her frst album last year. Jannik is playing as a dj in Münsters clubs, preferrably with our friends within the newcommer dj crew called "Kollektiv Kumpelstilzchen".
