Amvy&Amagy is a duet whose tracks always set fire the dance floor, so we are looking forward to them.
The main track "Daewa" is an ethnical composition, like a water stream carrying you either into the backwater or into the flow, enveloped in percussion and a female magical voice belonging to a water nymph and penetrating deep into the soul, causing bliss and ecstasy among listeners.
The co-main track "Emra" pulls you out of the water onto land, where the eastern bazaar is spread out by the pier. As you walk past the silks and spices counters, you hear unfamiliar speech, soft shakers and melodic percussion. A stirring combination of sounds leads the crowd to the place of dance, which will end only when the moon connects with the stars in the Middle East sky.

'The New Act' is the EP's title track and it wastes no time at all in setting the 'Steyoyoke Black' standard nice and high. With plenty of chunk, its clean crisp and in your face, whilst at the same time mesmerising to the ears, with its stark percussion and progressive beats.

The second track is called 'Waiting in The Wings' and instantly it hits you with a relentless drive and some solid grunt. Skena layers this with insane soundscapes and instrumental licks that infect you with goosebumps. This little masterpiece dips, dives and invades your mind from all sides.

About the EP :
Rising Bulgarian talent Imperieux returns to ATLANT after his ATL008 debut with a fresh batch of music. This second release demonstrates a maturity and evolution in his sound, so we just had to bring this music to you at the earliest opportunity.

Lead track ‘Culture Mess’ is a dark dense twilight trip with a twisted arp theme pitted against thrashing, crashing percussive elements and venemous rasping snares.

By sharp contrast ‘Gen’ focuses on tribal elements and evokes far off mystic lands with vibrant flowing organic sounds and mystic nomadic textures.
The intense ‘Aritmetika’ takes this EP back to the dancefooor and is perfect for that moment when everyone is lost in their own thoughts, oblivious to external factors ... because only the music matters.

Closing out our 12th release is ‘Talking To Myself’. This has more of a straight forward 4/4 jam, but don’t be lulled into a false sense of security. The eerie trippy synth lines and snipped echoed vocal edits with get deep into your mind. Four tracks that warrant repeated plays, Impérieux has really delivered something special.

These tracks have been getting a lot of attention after ATLANT label leader BOg gave audiences a sneak preview at recent gigs in Beirut, Paris and Cologne. The likes of Trikk has also been playing this music out live to fantastic reception.
