H. R. Walker used to run a martial arts school for kids, most of whom never paid for their classes. But about 25 years ago, a group of his students were killed for standing up for themselves, gunned down by drug dealers for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. H.R. closed down the school the next day, telling students, "The only way to stay safe is to not fight back." Now, Slim just runs his auto shop, and everyone in the neighborhood knows it’s the best place to get your car fixed. However, the pushers and dealers are expanding their territory, and there’s been a rash of criminal activity on Slim’s block, and H.R’s "Don’t fight back" policy won’t last for long. Presenting the Zen Mechanical Martial Artist of Dark Watch: Mr. Fixer.

So I've been binging a lot of 80s anime with my sister for inspiration on Return to Aloha (my next 80s album!!) It's been working out pretty well so far.  Bubblegum Crisis/Crash/AD Police have all been pretty inspiring, as has Macross!
The result here is a fusion of the sounds from those shows, especially AD Police and Macross for this one.  Big thanks to The Ghost Mall for his informative videos on VSTs! I picked up a fresh one (KORG Polysix!) due to them. Also used this song to test out the Roland SoundcanvasVA. Enjoy!
