Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Shades of Black is a DIY Recording Artist & Music Producer, best known for his precise, yet creative lyricism, soulful content, and 90’s styled production.  Inspired primarily by folks like Elzhi and 9th Wonder, Haile strives to create impactful music that contrasts today’s mainstream music. With a disdain for today’s superficial Hip-Hop culture, Black creates music for those who consider themselves members of society’s counter-culture/underground, and he directly speaks to the tune of their praises and grievances. He is currently working on his second project, which follows behind his debut mixtape, “ Free White & 21”, where he addresses his grievances as an overt Black man in an overt White man’s society. Forging his Hip-Hop career as a local emcee, native Memphian Omega Forte is positioning himself as a trendsetter in the Bluff City's Hip-Hop scene. "The way he pairs convoluted rhymes and an inherent ability to effortlessly 'ride out' a beat, is nothing short of amazing". In an effort to become immortalized with some of the music industry's most notable legends, Omega has spent his career perfecting both his artistry and his brand. After transcending  from Jay Eff, to J. Omega, and now Omega Forte, his undeniable growth can be heard in his most recent release "The Night" ft. Jhene Aiko.  The single details his torrid love affair with the genre and how it can affect personal relationships.
 
 While he has spent much of his time promoting his fan favorite Journey to Success mixtape, he has also been featured on "No Guts No Glory"- a collaborative by sought-after Memphis producer KingPin Da' Composer featuring other rising artists, and participating in the Welcome to the Jungle Cypher, (which features a few breakout emcees from Springdale, Arkansas). Omega Forte has not shied away from his second love of acting. Through a series of Youtube videos and local improvosational performances, the multi-facited artist has defied limitations.
 
Omega is also featured on The Co-Sign by DJ Grind Tyme mixtape with Universal Recording Artist Tef Poe. Currently, Omega Forte is preparing to push the lyrical envelope further with his freshman album, scheduled for release in the spring of 2018.
