Very happy to share the 3'rd chapter of the "Music for Fashion" series. This time dedicated to Rei Kawakubo, which has always been my favorite designer and one of the greatest source of inspiration for me. I tried to recreate the personality and the "gesture" of the artist through various tracks from different periods and musical genres. The result is introspective and whimsical at the same time, with a good balance between cinematic visions, classical music and avant-garde scores, with a subtle reference to the typical sounds of the Japanese culture. All the tracks in the mix are reworked by me, so you could find some slight variations from the originals. In the selection you will find also some unpublished works, which I composed especially for this occasion, including all the sound effects and the electro-acoustics parts. Enjoy.
