Few DJs have made such a dramatic impact on the underground house and techno scene over the last two years as Hot Creations label owner Lee Foss. Described by DJ Mag as “one of the most talented new forces in modern dance music today” and by fellow future house innovators Art Department as their favourite producer, Lee has quickly catapulted himself into dance music’s collective consciousness. 



Lee and his Hot Creations label co-owner Jamie Jones currently spearhead a whole family of like-minded producers that includes Robert James, Russ Yallop, Richy Ahmed, Danny Daze and most recently wAFF who are currently re-writing the rulebook of how to make evocative and emotive house music. His latest Hot Creations release ‘Electricity EP’ features collaborations with legendary producer MK and hot new vocal talent Anabel Englund, which will be followed this summer by the hotly anticipated Hot Natured album and live tour.

While some producers spend years finding their feet, Russ made a clear statement of intent with ‘I Can’t Wait’ his debut release on Crosstown Rebels, a solid cut of nu-school house that was charted across the board by everyone from Jamie Jones to MANDY, with ‘Rock Me’ on the B-side was picked up by DJ Mag and featured on their ‘Best of British’ covermount compilation. 2011 was a huge year for Russ with releases on Crosstown Rebels' Rebellion, Hot Creations, No.19, and Foot & Mouth under alias B&B. Long-time friend and now a fully-fledged member of Crosstown Rebels, Russ Yallop has been biding his time, honing his production skills for the last few years. Part of a new breed of DJs, with studio skills to match, which includes his close friends Lee Foss, Richy Ahmed and Robert James, Russ Yallop’s sound is infected with warm charm and boundless energy. Fusing fun into dance music again, Russ and his UK-based peers are creating a new strain of house music that is currently taking the worldwide underground by storm, promising bright things for the future.

Etienne de Crécy is a key figure of the international electronic scene.
Whether for his live shows, his recordings production or marketing around his projects, Etienne De Crecy has always been considered as a pioneer, thanks to his conceptualized, unique and innovative work.

For those too young to remember the 90s, Etienne de Crécy was the guiding hand behind the albums Super Discount (1997) and Super Discount 2 (2004), featuring contributions from Alex Gopher, Air, Cassius and DJ Mehdi. In that collective venture and in his solo work, Etienne de Crécy has always rejected the facile, remaining fiercely loyal to old-school house and choosing to extensively explore electronic music’s underground labyrinths rather than tread the beaten paths of commercial success.

During his 20-year rise to the summit, the French producer has cut some of the world’s most influential electronic albums: Pansoul (with Philipe Zdar under the name Motorbass), Super Discount, Tempovision and Super Discount 2.

After five years spent blitzing a string of venues with his legendary Beats N'Cubes show - a lavish installation and a live experience as visually brilliant as it was sonic, leaving clubbers and festival-goers dazed - Etienne de Crécy has revived his Super Discount project, ten years after the last, second opus.
