The Sad House-Guest Routine are purveyors of psychedelic folk (sometimes without the psychedelia, and sometimes without the folk).

When you’re the only British artist in a Country music line-up featuring Fort Worth’s finest at this year’s Texas Music Takeover Festival 2017, in London, it takes more than just a powerful voice and a No.3 hit in the UK Country iTunes Charts to blow the boots off a sold-out crowd. It takes a sheer volume of authenticity. Something rising star Jeannine Barry carries in spades.


 


Jeannine’s roots may lie in the UK, but the way she effortlessly tunes into the humble, raw and emotional candour of true Country onstage has allowed her to build a loyal fan base worldwide. Following a range of prestigious support slots, appearances and an invitation to headline the launch party for the UK’s biggest country music festival C2C (Country 2 Country) 2017 she packed her bags for Nashville, recording and touring with Blake Shelton’s guitarist, Kevin Post.

Jeannine’s sincerity, honest lyrics and exceptional talent, continue to propel her. After a hugely successful headline show in London, Jeannine has started 2018 off with her new music release 'Sweet Spot' in time for her sets at this year's Country 2 Country festival at The O2, London and has recorded an 'Under The Apple Tree' session for Bob Harris. This is just the beginning of an exciting and promising year for Jeannine Barry.
