“African Youth” EP is an international collaboration between two islands. One in
Denmark and the other one Jamaica.
Walshy Fire of Major Lazer connected producer CHLLNGR with Azizzi Romeo,
the son of Max Romeo and “African Youth” was formed. The band Livity All
Stars provides a unique, organic roots reggae sound recorded to tape, while,
Azizzi flows with a modern approach that nods to the past.

With limited time, I almost didn't participate in the remix project this week, but decided to share what I came up with. I think that most of the time it's better to share what's made than to let it stay hidden. Ended up focussing mostly on a flute theme that I liked, and building something around that. Lovely collaboration from the three creators of that original.

First attempt at remixing tracks with this "Into the Wild" movie anthem. Since I heared this tune 10 years ago I've been adding drum&bass rythmics in my head every time I've listened to this song. Music and lyrics speek to me today more than ever in this crazy world.
I (re)started music production this year and remixing those kind of pearls is now one of my goals, hope you like (if so hit the button) !
