Those Who Did Not See

Residing on Mälaröarna in Stockholm Jean Philipes concentrates on taking recorded memories and combining it with live acoustic instruments like harp, zithers and dulcimer. The music is melancholic ambient with a subtile electronic mixture that is heavily piano driven.

Omea is a one man ambient and experimental project, based in Freiburg,  Acoustic sounds and Instruments are blended with modular and hardware synthesizers and a lot of (electronically manipulated) field recordings and melodies from nature to create present memories and imaginations in the mind of the listener, in order to illustrate the universal connection between beings and their surroundings in the inner and outer worlds.

Each Track is a sonic escape, especially for me, and it deals with my energy and my feelings in this moments. I really hope, that I can open up my cloud for you and that my music can be a little peace of inspiration for your own dreamy ore conscious adventures and escapes.
Hopefully some of my music does resonate within you and your energy, and maybe it can be a part of your own wanderings an expressions.
