One of the first songs I wrote was “falling” back in 2014 while I was at Uni. I was alone in my room, trying to feel the music... Intro harmonies came first, then the rest followed. It made me imagine what it would feel and sound like to be a person on the verge of committing suicide… The meaning has evolved as I’ve grown, I feel it’s a song that could also represent the deepest depths of love between two people. I asked my friend of many years, Angelina to sing the second verse as I wrestled with finishing the song on my own...The lines are basically repeated but a female voice changes the perspective completely. Her voice is soft and the best match that I know. I knew that I could trust her on this.
