During these hard times of fear and self-isolation, it’s incredibly fascinating to see how artists all around the globe reacted to this difficult and unexpected situation, creating art to connect people and make them feel less lonely and vulnerable.

Shramm and I, to connect with you even more, decided to launch an idea called “The self-isolation remixes”. As you know the last Komponent’s track is titled “Tell Me Something” - we thought it was the perfect one to choose from. Never like now, people want to connect, to talk, to communicate, using every possible technological means.

So what we ask you is to rework/remix our song “Tell Me Something” and to upload your version on your Soundcloud profile, [Komponent - Tell Me Something (Your Name Remix)], using the tag #theselfisolationremixes. Once ready we will create a Soundcloud playlist with all the works that you will send us.

Stems are intentionally made from recording sessions and not from mixing sessions, so you will have total control and freedom to cut, reinvent, compress, reverb and making some craziness on top of them.

Governments are actually taking different measures and decisions, sometimes not in a responsible way. We use this opportunity to tell you: “stay home and stay safe!”. Use this time to be creative and to generate even more beauty.
