/the greatest gift a person can give you at any moment is their presence/

present is a short collection of my personal favorite beats which, collectively, explores the concepts of happiness and sadness, self-reflection, self-worth, love, and support. the word 'present' could mean a showcase, now, a gift, and simply being there. these are reflected in the EP through its two parts that show the phases of sadness and happiness. these parts are separated with a single track that encapsulates the word 'present'. 

this is a story of hope, love, and redemption. i hope that you'll enjoy listening to my little story, and that it may inspire you to push forward. everything will be okay.

before/after hours is a collection of my best beats, and i would consider this to be my best work to date. this one is about the night out in the bar with great music, and the love for jazz. this is an influence from my dad, and i feel that this influence and love for this music has driven me to create what i would consider my masterpiece. it's a blast to the past back when he used to bring the family to a jazz bar just close to home, and we'd spend the night eating pizza while someone on the stage is killing that solo on the bongos. in a way, this is a "throwback" for me, and that my experience in the bar back when i was a child is reflected onto this tape. in the end, everyone goes home, and just thinks about what happened that night, and that corresponds to right now, where i reflect on those nights back when i was a kid.
i hope you spend some time to listen to these beats, and i hope you feel how i felt back then.

this track's a really special one. apart from it being my first solo release in 2 years, this track also celebrates my 10th year in music, and my 6th year with my girlfriend. i did a full 180 on this one and tried to express myself as much as i can, in a way where everyone would understand (something that beats alone wouldn't be able to achieve) this is the first single of my upcoming album titled 'by your side' which is coming up sooner than you think

This record’s about the struggles of an artist in their search for inspiration during their really intense creative rut. This artist tries everything to bring it back, only to end up back in the same place and repeating the cycle. In the end, the artist turns introspective and asks themselves “what keeps you burning?”. After escaping the creative rut, this struggle ironically was able to become a song in itself.

no samples, full vocals, same gny sound. this album was 3 years in the making, and i'm quite happy with how it turned out. i know it's quite different from everything else i've released so far, but let me tell you that putting these songs together has been the most spiritual experience in my whole career. i feel like i really found myself artistically in this record, and i truly hope that you guys enjoy it.

hall of mirrors is a short collection of my first beats, and since i came from my electronic music project Technicalia, I had to manifest my conceptual hunger into this EP. this tape is my response to everyone who disregards sampling as an artform. each of these beats samples 5 different artists who created their own version of the same song. my thought when creating this project was: these jazz artists can create their own version of a song, why can’t beatmakers do too? collectively, the titles of the beats create one sentence explaining the reinvention of this music in the hip-hop approach, and the tape’s titled /hall of mirrors/ since it is looking into different reflections of the same thing. i hope you all spend just a little time to listen to this EP that i’ve been holding close to my heart for a while now, and i hope my statement reaches every person out there who still have prejudices in sampling as an art.

/tonic/ is a brief exploration of flavor and culture. we wanted to capture the taste of how our session went back in January in the form of drinks. "tonic" in this case means invigorating.

you’re different now is my last beat tape, made for me and solely for me. it tells the story of myself as a musician and my relationship with my own workspace, and the struggle to find what and who my music is made for (this whole breakdown phase happened almost exactly a year ago).

this is a story of how i turned my prison to a palace (along with the help of some of my closest friends thank you). i hope you enjoy listening to my project as much as i enjoyed crying while making it
