Hip Hanukkah

This is a somewhat rockn' version of the Maoz Tzur melody, that I made on the first night of Chanukah 5774 (2013). It has strictly mic'd amps and a direct-in bass, a little eq, compression, and reverb (and drums). No special effects or anything fancy. I tried to keep it simple and pure, like the oil in the Chanukah menorah.

An evening of chizuk, after the murder of our local hero, friend, and neighbour, Ari Fuld ztz'l, Shirat David Community gathered to hear words and song from Rabbi Shlomo katz, Shoshana Judelman, and Shraga Stern, who had saved us all from a terrorist attack in the backyard of the home where this evening took place, just two year sago.
