You amaze me! This is my favorite piece so far

This is one song that I plan to include on my next CD. It's not the "final" recording, but I am putting it out there to see what people think of it.

Rosemary - Solo Piano

When I heard the news about Nash Lucken-Bak, my first thought was that I can’t fathom what his parents must be going through right now. I am not a parent, so I don’t know what it’s like to have a child, much less lose one. “They must be just putting one foot in front of the other to get through this,” I thought.

This thought actually got me thinking about Nash, and how children learn to walk by putting one foot in front of the other. Eventually, step by feeble step, they learn to walk. And from walking, they learn to run. And how Nash loved to run! I saw it especially on Easter Sunday, just two weeks ago, how he ran around the church!

Isaiah 40:31 comes to mind...
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.

Right now, Nash is walking and not fainting. He is running and not growing weary. He is soaring on wings like eagles.

With all of this in mind, I wrote a song for piano on Wednesday to honor Nash. I’ve called it “Step, Walk, Run, Soar”.
