Kane Bleek is a Chicago area artist looking to make a name for himself in this new age hip hop scene. He continues to find new lanes to swerve in and out of while ultimately creating a lane of his own. 


I am first and foremost a blogger for Thinmintspiration, a body love blog. I use soundcloud to post interviews and slam poems to share on my blog. 

Second, I am a spoken word and song-writing enthusiast who began my sweet affair with playing music at 12 years old when I picked up an electric guitar for the first time. I performed as the lead guitarist in an all-girl classic rock band for four years called The Smacks. The band was extremely successful, with groupies, t-shirts, and multiple articles/interviews in town papers.

As a senior in high school, I played in the jazz band, excelling at improvisational blues solos. Around this time I began experimenting with the acoustic guitar and have since co-founded three acoustic duos: Shades of Scarlet (2011-present) and an indie duo, October Weather (2013)and The Oxymorons (2014-present).

Current projects include incorporating slam poetry/rap into my music, covering dirty rap songs on the acoustic guitar, performing various gigs in Kirksville with The Oxymorons, and continuing efforts to record and share my music with you. 

In a time of high technology and autotune, Tennessee-born, NYC-grown, and now Europe-based singer and songwriter Norman Vladimir is trying something new. Vladimir uses soulful, big range vocals and raw talent combined with live loops and live instruments to create an authentic sound with a definition of “pop” that is all his own. In 2010, Vladimir became the lead singer for world-renown director and choreographer Bill T. Jones' production of Fondly Do We Hope...Fervently Do We Pray. Later that year, he sang for President Barack Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, Oprah Winfrey, Sir Paul McCartney, and many others for Jones' tribute at the nationally-televised Kennedy Center Honors in Washington DC. Performing in the New York City music scene, he won honors and had the opportunity to open for/share stages with the likes of Norah Jones, John Forte, Me'shell Ndegeocello, Ben Taylor, Robert DiPietro, Tarrah Reynolds, Jason Kriveloff & Mark Tewarson to name a few. He has recently moved to Europe to work on his next project & expand the reach of his work.
