JV represents a unique breed of dance music producer -- one that fuses together elements of House and Techno to simultaneously move dance floors and provoke the imagination. With over twenty record releases under his belt, JV's "deep-yet-dancefloor" sound has circulated the globe several times over, catching the attention of those in the know, such as Hernan Cattaneo who featured JV's "Grand Theft Vinyl" track on his highly acclaimed Renaissance Masters compilation.

While a music maker at heart, JV also has a passion for hearing conservation. In 2012, JV founded Frequency Effect, a charity organization with three core goals: educate the music community on how to protect their hearing, support a cure for hearing loss through fundraising events, and share a love for deep electronic music with the world. Recent successes of the charity include a Red Bull Music Academy sponsored tour through the US which featured cutting edge artists and generated over $10k for research.
