When I looked through the first week's submissions and saw the title "40 Year Old RV" I knew I had to listen to that one!

I agree, i dont know how you got to ‘send me a thermostat’ on that, but i love it.

lol, creative interpretation of the prompt. I roll with the RV crowd. I can see all my buds playing this relatable anthem.

aw man Jeff it is so good to hear you writing again man.  you're a walking jukebox of original ideas man.  all of them original interesting and engaging.  here's another one.  upbeat, catchy, toe tapping hooky and nicely performed rock and roll man.  this'd work on stage with just you a guitar and an amp man.  nice!

This was one of my favorite tracks to work on, ever. This ended up being a cowrite for an idea I brought to Don @donmercermusic and Natalie @natpricemusic. I had no idea where the story would go and Natalie had found this CRAZY (truly!) story about this couple. Go read it!

I’ve been thinking about going underground
I’ve been learning about How to build a trap
Catch my food and subsist there

I don’t really know how deep I have to go

40 Year Old RV

Broke down on the side of the road
got a little time, gonna search my soul
What the hell are we doing here
broken down again

Started out three week ago
loaded up the kids in the motorhome
We got a whole lot of stories to tell
Don’t know where to begin

Theres wonders to be found all around
Adventure at your feet

When you take a long road trip in a 40 year old RV 
Add to the challenge and bring your family
Might learn how to turn a wrench and see inside your self
So send me a thermostat, I’ll put it on myself

So here we are, can’t get too far the motors acting up
Only got 85 miles to go, I ain’t giving up
Looking for adventure, that’s how it goes
Might spend some time on the side of the road

Cause there’s wonders all around to be found
