Always great to hear your heart songs Jeff. (the 'manatee' songs are cool too). I like the subtle beauty of the vocal chorus mix juxtaposed against your solo vocal., the orchestral bridges are lovely, and the sad theme of watching a loved one's light die brings it all home.

Apparently, most creatures with hearts, that live natural lives have 1.5 billion heart beats in their lives. Larger animals generally live longer and have slower pulses and smaller animals hearts beat faster but have shorter lives. But we all get 1.5 billion beats. (Thanks Physicist Sean M. Because of science and medicine humans live twice as long as before modern medicine existed, so we get 3 billion beats now until we go permanantly on our journey back to the Sun!

We're ever so slightly lucky to be in this position in this time and on this journey.

Given all the bullshit people argue about, my guess is there are way too many people that don't appreciate that. We have one shot. One set of heart beats and then that's it. Wouldn't it be way better if we just enjoyed it together as we perfect our explanations of this reality rather then stay in a bubble and our own faked version of the universe and our surroundings. But I'm just a pea so what would I know... 🫛 🎶🕺🏾

I did this about a year ago -- posting again because I reworked it a bit, and I just really like the tune. The 2nd & 3rd verses were inspired by a fellow SoundCloud member's life events. Due for release on Spotify Nov 16!!
