Sérgio Marques, nascido em Curitiba e ouvinte de boa musica desde a infância, traz em sua bagagem influências  de grandes Artistas ,Djays e amantes da House Music e suas vertentes dos anos 80 e 90,dentre as referencias estão,Dj Renato Américo e Reverson Barbosa  fundador da Doctor Disco,referência na cena musical nos anos 90 em Curitiba .
Em 2010 Sérgio Marques teve seu primeiro contato com os primeiros equipamentos profissionais de Dj,desde entao ele buscou os estudos para se aperfeiçoar na arte da mixagem
Desde 2012 já morando em SC, Sèrgio Marques trouxe toda sua experiência e feeling pela musica , para o projeto Mono Bass onde todo seu talento e fidelidade são colocados em seus set’s com mixagens harmônicas, ritmos e grooves envolventes.
Já em 2017 após já ter passado por grandes clubes de SC ao lado de grandes nomes da cena eletrônica Nacional com warm ups do mais alto nível com um estilo musical marcante , Sérgio Marques buscou a evoluçao em seu projeto MonoBass ,na Produçao Musical, onde hoje conta com algumas produções que ja embalam as pistas por onde passa.
Sérgio Marques traz em seu projeto Mono Bass, um conceito musical com novas experiências sonoras, sempre com muito groove e um feeling ,que na pista se transformam em uma experiência musical ,única e marcante !!!

The Funky Boulevards hits Europe after a 15 years career in Brazil.

Brazilian-born Italian DJ Giovanni Pierobom Vicentin, aka The Funky Boulevards, is a resident at AlpiNN, in the Dolomites.

Heavily influenced by acid jazz, disco and funk, The Funky Boulevards brings in his bag almost 15 years of relationship with music from Brazil to Treviso, Italy. Drawing from House and related genres, seasoned with smooth nuances of soul, hip hop and funk, the solo DJ is a master at delivering vibe-drenched sets.

There’s a beat for everyone - from underground lovers to mainstream pop listeners, who will notice the DJ’s appreciation for the likes of Jamiroquai, Frankie Knuckles, Prince, Mark Farina, Scott Diaz, and Dennis Ferrer and the list go on.

“When I was introduced to Crydamoure in the late 90’s, with names such as Guy Manuel de Homem Christo from Daft Punk, Paul Johnson, DJ Falcon and DJ Sneak, I was instantly mind-blown. I knew I had found my place”

The setup pays a clear homage to the old timers and new househeads: analog record players and digital controllers share the same space. Spinning vinyl is a non-negotiable clause for Giovanni, a music lover.

Currently, the focus is on creating amazing sets, but original productions are coming pretty soon.

“I’ve been a DJ for more than 15 years now and I love it, but it’s time to start writing my own thing and Italy is the best place to do that. The crowd here is receptive to what I like, and being at Alpinn has been a thrill; I look forward to exposing my personal vibe more and more”

From Brazil to Italy

The Funky Boulevards had its grounds in Curitiba, southern Brazil, breaking through the status quo at the time. Establishing himself as a reference in the city, he soon became part of a joint project with a nationwide radio station as a resident.

Fans saw the advent of The Factory Sessions weekly radio show a couple of years later, livestreamed globally through Digitally Imported FM, reaching audience from Amsterdam to New York City. That brought visibility and partnerships that led to the creation of the Connection Festival, in 2012, as co-founder and resident DJ. In 2017, shortly before relocating to Europe, he was curating for The Groove, a radio program with national broadcast through one of Brazil’s largest radio stations, Transamérica.
