J.WAIL is no stranger to Phish.  From his renegade style mini-stage on Phish Tour in 2009, to late night performances in Telluride, the Brooklyn based Artist has broken barriers by creating a remix of Phish’s song Cavern.   

J.WAIL has released a live remix of Cavern from Phish’s performance of the song on April 5th, 1998 at the Providence Civic Center.   In creating the remix J.Wail says, “Using the live recording, I aimed to keep the integrity of the live feel and the jam preceding the song.  For a long time I had wanted to do something with Cavern, remix or do a live electronic variation.  Many late nights and 6 months later its exciting to see this release become reality!”  This release will also mark the first time anyone has ever remixed Phish’s song Cavern. These are our literal vows and the first song we ever wrote together. We are beyond lucky and grateful that RY X recorded them the day before Deena’s complicated surgery and that Deena can now speak and sing as she did before. It’s been a very emotional ride for us 😭 and somehow this feels like the beginning
