Danny Darko ft Julien Kelland – Hanging Tree (Jeff LeClair Remix)

The original Terminator theme had a time signature of 13/16.
For Terminator 2, it was adjusted to 6/8.  I wanted to try my hand at making it work as a part of a 4/4 techno track.  I layered the original heavy metallic drum in its original time, and incorporated it in with the bassline. The staggered snare hits fit well within the genre, and finally the breakdown has the synth in its original form with some additional layers to beef it up.

Trixie had posted this song on her Facebook page before she had passed. It seemed to strike a chord with her. In listening to it a few times, it started to mean something more to me as well. I wanted to do a quick edit in her preferred genre, hope she would have liked it.
