The newest instrumental tracks I've written and produced. Irreverently blind to genre, each track is it's own. Almost entirely produced in FL Studio. No AI was used.

Xyst - New Instrumentals

Genre-less track with roots in rock, pop, folk and world music. Big soundscape with thundering drums and deep resonant piano. More narrative than structured. [Ver.  43]

Forgiveness Act Three

Atmospheric, mystical and meditative. The plucking of strings. The rubber warbling of electronic bass. A stained canvas on which rushing winds and brushing paint are pushed by the sound of a distant drum echo. [Ver. 19]

Lively upbeat piano and guitar song. Makes me want to sway and move to the rhythm. Also check out the Vocal version; "To Confess - Vocal".

To Confess

A journey of controlled chaos from back in 2017. The untamed character of this track made mixing and mastering challenging. Jangly Tar, Piano, Fretless Bass, Flutes, Marimba and Orchestral Percussion with spices. [ver. 93]

Solar

In a word; Dynamic. A difficult production because of the rapid changes to level and pitch. Uses just one synth instrument (Thank you Vital Synth-Matt Tytel, thank you Mr. Bill) with sampled Rototoms and Drums. Let it lift you. Let it move you. [Ver. 32 -Master]

Forgiveness Act Two

A rich complex of electronic textures woven around a central core of fretless bass. An active and invigorating rhythmic journey. This version is from the 16bit sources, I'll be remixing this with 32bit sources in the coming months. [Ver. 48b_BAKED_05]

Drikkaline

Listening to some Robyn tracks inspired this song. I wanted a hard synth pop vibe with a little bit of hell raising. Take a deep breath because this piece doesn't breathe at all. It's an audio onslaught from start to finish. 

...If you like ghosts... At the end of the track is what sounds clearly like a voice speaking, yet there were no mics, organic instruments or analog input of any sort. The voice emerged out of the conflux of late mastering decisions using compression and harmonic enhancers, but didn't appear until the final export. Truly strange!

Root Of The Floom

A percussion-only track made as an attempt to capture the spirit of the hypnotic rhythms of drum circles I've been part of.

TriFour - World Drums

Dynamic and narrative instrumental built around a simple piano hook and counterpoint. It's one of a few pieces that spun out of "Pianolo" a free form piano song. Piano, Brass, Electric Guitar, swirling Airy Synth bits and Thunderous smashing drums.

This one was started in 2016, and back-burnered 'til now. Strong synth groove and unexpected trappy percussion give it a tangible sense of drive and movement. Not related to the artist/singer AViVA in any way.

Aviva

WARNING: CONTAINS EARWORMS.  This track refused to stay quiet on it's hard-drive. It's infectious and oddly timed melodic layers continually looped in my head for weeks. Calliope like synths create a web that captures the flying guitar riffs, then drained by the spidery rhythm for your pleasure or torment.

Lulling

This instrumental track is wonderfully ambiguous and magically rhythmic. The first version was released when I was working as Sonoxia (in 2015). This new remix and remaster brings back this uplifting song and polishes her with modern amenities. Positively in my top 5 tracks that I've composed or produced.

ChordOne

Composer and Media Producer from Kent, Ohio, USA.  Has released works as Xyst, Sonoxia, and JeffRay for Hypaethral Productions, Pearls Before Swine, and Mesa Publishing. Now focused on creating mostly instrumental music for video, tv, games and motion picture scores. 

Although the thumbnails are created using Dall-E or Stable Diffusion, NO AI WAS USED TO CREATE ANY MUSICAL COMPONENTS.
