These lyrics are very personal to me and based on an experience I had a few months ago working on a project with someone I trusted and called a friend. (We are no longer friends and I have blocked this person from my life.) I have always loved this track by Frequent and the mood of this track inspired me to write down everything I felt during the experience - the way my opinions were dismissed and when I decided to leave the project, I was told I was being emotional and overly dramatic. Well, whatever this person thinks of me, I don't care. I know myself and I will not tolerate disrespect. So my lyrics are dedicated to everyone who has been in a similar situation and have stayed true to who they are.
