Gunshot blues is the first track I have written and recorded. I recorded the track at HQ Studios in Manchester. I first started writing the song about 7 years ago but then moved onto writing the next song and then the next song and so on. I finally got around to finishing this one last year and taking it to the studio to record. I play the guitars, bass and there is an organ somewhere in the background. I then attempt to sing as well. Drums are a mix of samples put together by the producer. There is some other percussion in there such as tambourine and I don’t know if there is a technical name for it but “shaky egg”? My Dad did those as he came with me to the recording studio when i did this track and I wanted him to be a part of it. See what you think…..

raw vocal demo of jay-did's pop song written for someone like The Weeknd. this is going to be a big hit! If not for me, for someone else. contact me if you're interested. this raw recording is a super rudimentary three track vocal demo made entirely while I was driving. as you can probably tell, all drums, bass and the psychedelic wah-wah bedding are all  beatbox. please comment.
