The song was written in 1954 by pianist Errol Garner. He composed it as an instrumental and lyrics were added later by Johnny Burke.  It appears on Johnny Mathis' 1959 album Heavenly and reached number 12 on the U.S. Pop Singles chart later that year.  This is my take on it. I did it as a duet for alto and baritone sax and a full sax section joins halfway through giving it a kind of fun ending. Let me know what you think about my version of Misty. In 1993 I received my Master's Degree in Music.  At that time, as bills piled up I decided to pursue more lucrative endeavors outside of the music field and had not played a note in nearly 30 years.  Then in 2021, I saw this ad for a Yamaha YDS 150 Digital Saxophone and decided to get one and see what I could do with it after all these years.
