"Refracted" - Marching Band Show

Imagine Jumanji, with evil spirits. In this game, the roll of the dice determines what the spirits do. "if you decide to roll the dice, you must play this game... until the end." Make sure you check out Pioneer's WGI video for prop and set ideas!

Originally commissioned by Pioneer Indoor and was the 2014 WGI PIO Silver Medalist

Using the idea of sinking in water as a metaphor for dealing with depression, this show is sure to impact anyone who experiences it. With the gradual sinking to the bottom and triumphant rise to the top, this show would be a great vehicle for exploring a greater and mature emotional palette with your ensemble.

Originally commissioned by Pioneer Indoor who was the 2015 WGI PIO Silver Medalist.

Into The Deep (World Class)

This is a show that is about how children in war-stricken countries are affected by the events that surround them, and unfortunately become enveloped in the horror and atrocities of war. The story is conveyed via prose, that references war being contained in a box. "Bound up with chains and locked with locks, and labeled 'kindly do not touch... it's war.'"

The Box (A Class)

"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass; it's About learning to dance in the rain." This is a classic example of a show that has you constantly intrigued and wondering where it's going next. It first presents you with the idea of waiting... waiting through space, and being patience through open space. "Waiting for the storm" and "the storm to pass" presents an aggressive vignette of the pre- and post-storm ideas. "It's about learning to dance" creates a total chance of pace that's fun for the performers and audience. Finally, we wrap the show up with the full quote. It's a great production with tons of variety and visual opportunities!
