Founder of Northern club night Mist, Will Berridge already has plenty of house and techno knowledge under his belt, but he proved his production acumen when he released on Sweden's Local Talk imprint earlier in the year.

With velvety synths underpinned by a chunky 4/4 stomp, the track — which glides effortlessly into sticky, analogue territory — is a fresh glance back at NY deep house circa 2001, or the Chicago cuts of a producer like Gemini. 

'Stacking Options' is one of five tracks on Berridge's forthcoming 'Make a Move' EP, released on 28th October on Save You.

Brownswood's latest leftfield pop project Anushka released their debut album 'Broken Circuit' to wide acclaim this summer and in lieu of their single — 'Atom Bombs (13th October) — the duo will embark on a European tour this month.

Described in our July issue as an album that “playfully subverts the pop formula with modern electronics”, 'Broken Circuits' cleverly marries the breathy vocals of Victoria Port with sub-bass-laded garage/house laid down, with a pop-led song-writing sensibility, by Max Wheeler.

Following a summer that's seen them perform at Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide Festival and Soundwave Festival in Croatia, the Brighton-based will bring their eagerly awaited live show to 11 venues across Europe between 27th September and 11th November (full listings below).

With tickets now on sale, we're giving a VIP dub version of the single away from absolutely nuthin'. Re-sampling, cutting up and drawing out the vocals of the original over supple chords, a delicate 4/4 and viscous synth textures, it sounds as good in headphones as it will on the dancefloor.
