Rick Wade is one of those electronic music producers who deserves the honorific title of "maestro." Listening to his music unlocks vibes, sensations, triggered by a deep knowledge of music that is impossible to reproduce without doing the work. The same, I think, goes for his DJ sets. 

This mix series, Sanctify, was created with a sound like Rick Wade's in mind: warm, analog-sounding deep house. "Late Night Basix" could be an alternate title. Though we started with others, Rick Wade drew the blueprint for this.

Probably one of the hardest session I had to make in times. A session fully dedicated to my friend and mentor in music, Olivier Portal aka Playin' 4 The City. Olivier was someone way above kindness, he was always there when you needed him and was always there to help you. I remember how he helped me on my track Playin' 4 The Sea Tee, track he liked very much!

This sparked a deeper connection, leading me to explore Schumann’s Carnaval, performed by Rubinstein, as mentioned in the story. Just like how Murakami’s tale weaves together music and introspection, this show delves into the mysteries that music uncovers.
