@roastbeatz is back with his latest EP boasting 5 slabs of House and Disco heat! He’s well and truly cranked the BPM up on this one, making it the perfect tonic for those Summer dancefloors. Already receiving support from BBC Introducing, being featured 3 weeks in a row on Radio Solent, having 2 tracks played back to back in one show and being the soundtrack to a Bournemouth Tourism campaign. It’s apparent that Roast has found a groove that fans, new and old are feeling with this brand-new release.

Been a Long Time: Recorded post lockdown, Roast had been putting his efforts into making music. After crafting this melodic disco, funk banger he called upon the skills of Lucy Richards and Everyman to tie this track together and make it last the test of time.

Punjabi Party: Originally made as a free download, the track progressed into such a dancefloor monster, there’s no way he could keep it off the EP. As the name suggests Roast samples Punjabi MC, adds Baile Funk, 808’s and Biggie. How can it lose?

Disco Hustle: A last-minute addition to the EP, this track has since had support from BBC radio and been used in the Bournemouth “Feels Like” Tourist campaign reaching thousands of people across the UK. The vibes in the title and guaranteed to fill dancefloors all Summer.

Hold Your Head Up: This is the track that took BBC Introducing by storm and featured 3 weeks in a row. Roast got busy on the Rhodes, sampled some timeless classics, added some neck-snapping synth bass and polished it off with a sprinkle of flute. 

Bouncing Around: A tune Roast has gone back to again and again over the years. Finally, after sampling some Quantic trumpet, borrowing Jay Z and Pharrell the track came together. Just as you think you’ve got this banger worked out; it switches into all-out disco vibes to make sure all parties are hyped.

Alexia Coley returns to Jalapeno with Beautiful Waste Of Time, co-written with former Rotten Hill bandmates Gary McPherson and Andre Shapps. Their previous band Big Audio was led by Mick Jones from The Clash and in early live incarnations Alexia found herself singing the song with Mick on guitar. The song was never committed to record. So with Gary and Andre's support, Alexia re-recorded the single with her current band and with producer Dr. Rubberfunk on mixing duties made it her own.

On the flip, label mate Smoove puts the drums to the front for a dancefloor friendly remix that will be sure to tear up the clubs and festivals all summer long

The celebration of the epic Paul Sitter album &ndash; Hip-Hop Delivery continues as a new group of the electronic funk scene finest joins forces for another collection of remixes. On vol. 2 we got a variety of remixers each doing their thing on the classic hip hop material from Paul Sitter and the long lineup of rappers and vocalists.
Starting off with the label owner BadboE giving his signature funky treatment to the timeless Global Chemistry featuring Craig G. Followed by discObeta bouncing up the epic B-Boy Impressions. Omegaman is back in the production chair and BBP were lucky enough to get him to do a classy nu funk remix of the Wild Things jam.
Pecoe gets to work on King of The Rock giving it his funky twist while Crash Party give that same track a big beat tempo switching remix. Dal Platinum get busy with a neat groovy remix of the Dr Syntax featuring It&rsquo;s On Like That while The Fritz takes a downtempo approach to the Go Move track featuring the awesome Andy Cooper.

With this release they are bringing a two track single release featuring guest artists on their opening and self titled funk and party breaks track "People Under the Snare feat. Kid Stretch & Selectah Kats". Here we can find on the turntables mister: Kid Stretch, on the vocals miss : Selectah Kats and on the electric guitar mister : Peter Lago.
