This episode presents LIQUID CRYSTAL's set from the latest Mystic Sound party. Liquid Crystal is Sasha Shilov, an electronic composer from Russia. His music is a mixture of chillout, dub, psydub, psychedelic, Middle Eastern and Eastern European music, and Indian ethnic sounds. Liquid Crystal’s tunes are a morning rhythm mixed with the magic oriental music and smooth basslines. He has released two albums on Mystic Sound Records, and has several tracks released on the Visionary Shamanics’s compilations. The new Liquid Crystal album is planned for 2024 together with guitarist Stephan Sheglov.

Johohó, tenhle rok jsme se zhruba po pěti letech vrátili s Jonášem ke společnýmu hraní a je to radost. Psytrance jsme začali poslouchat už cca 20 let nazpět, za tu dobu jsme naposlouchali spoustu peciček a tak se k nim teď můžeme společně vracet a kolikrát jeden druhého přijemně při hraní překvapíme.

Set začal Jonáš Deedrah remixem Ecstasy od 1200 Mics a já navázal vzpomínkou na Sun Festival - Hypnosie remixem legendárního Dust Rising od Sonic Species... No a pak už se to vezlo.

Connected with music since childhood, when, being 4 years old, he organized his own cassettes collections, ranging from oldschool berlin electronic music, ambient and psychedelic rock to classical music. Allthough he studied piano and sound engineering, his approach to music was for a long time mostly receptive and collecting. He discovered psytrance and it's branches in year 2002 and after occasional visit of smaller parties, he was carried away by OZORA 2010 festival, where he heartily engorged psychedelic culture and it's atmospheres. Then in 2013 he co-founded production/deco crew WizArts, in 2014 and in 2017 became part of Fenix Festival production team.
