Bianca keeps one foot firmly on the dance floor with her mix this week. That's not to say it is a traditional club set, but the whole thing is underpinned by a very seductive and danceable groove that is always slowly building. There are proto-house cuts, dusty and analogue 80s rhythms, flashes of acid and breezy, feel-good sounds that send you off on a high. It is a perfect taster of what to expect from this exciting break-out selector.

Our brother, our friend, our family. This is the last recorded dj set from Navid Izadi at our beloved Sunset Campout 2018. Closing out the Beach Stage on Friday evening from a day of frolicking in and around the Feather River. Navid matured and defined his musical prowess in our community over many years and it was an honor to have him perform several times here. The first mix to go up is in honor of a man with an open heart that poured love into his music and all the people he connected with. We will miss you, your laughter, and infectious smile dearly. Your music and charisma will live on forever in all of us!

A true event architect, Jeni has a long history of breaking talent and shaping culture through forward-thinking curation and imaginative branding projects such as Making Shapes, Who is Jack, The Dusk Camp, Surround, and The Yard warehouse. Their productions are known for an unmistakable atmosphere—big on feeling, authenticity, and that ephemeral “epic vibe.”

Since the early ’90s, Jeni has believed deeply in the purity of the dance floor and the transformational relationship between music and community. They hold onto that raw warehouse spirit while also digging enthusiastically into the contemporary underground, navigating global electronic scenes with curiosity and heart.

Jeni thrives on creating magical, human connection, trusting in intentional selection and the craft of DJing to guide dancers through journeys of mind, body, and spirit. Their programming tells stories—taking risks, expressing truth, and tapping the energy of the room.

Now semi-retired from the modern rave circuit—with its commercial edges and social-media fatigue—Jeni has rooted themselves in a more intimate scene. They currently hold a monthly residency, Ojai House Music Club, in the small mountain valley of Ojai, California, where tacos, mezcal, Klipsch sound, and skilled guest selectors set the tone.
