Without the cultural achievements of the Black, Latin American, & Queer night life communities of the late 70s-90s in Chicago, Detroit, & New York we would not be playing House & Techno music. I am deeply thankful to be touched by this rich heritage.

This music is a powerful, universal language that forges the most empowering, fiercest dance grooves from all around the world.

My desire is to cultivate this art form with a spiritual mindset, an open heart & a smile. Forever learning from the roots. And celebrating the endless unconditional love this music invests in me, with every mix.

Shoemaker grew up in a family on the east coast of the United States where music was always the cornerstone of the home. When he first left the States over a decade ago, his love for music was only magnified by his travels around the world. Shortly after, an obsession for disco music sent him down a path of collecting and playing records.  With multiple residencies in the city under his belt over the years, his drive for finding new music and sounds inspires him to consistently dig deeper. Today, Shoemaker’s sets are influenced by disco, Latin, African, Zouk, house, and music from all corners of the world - never one to stick to one sound or genre. He aims to spoil listeners with music they are unfamiliar with but find irresistible not to move to! 
Shoemaker has played at MCQP, Sexy Groovy Love, Kinky Summer, Rocking the Daisies, Retreat Yourself among other festivals and is a regular DJ in the city bowl where you can catch him playing at various venues around town.

DJ Fiddlestix is a Multi Genre, multi format DJ, hailing from Bristol, UK. 

He is an avid vinyl collector and crate digger, who has been djing since 1998.
Growing up in the UK rave scene and the golden era of Hip Hop, his taste in music and his mixing style is unique, leading to a DJ who loves playing different flavours of music, on both analogue and digital formats.

The sets he plays have seen him rock crowds at events such as Glastonbury Festival, and spin at club nights such as Fresh jive (Leeds).

He is one half of "The Waxhogs" founded back in 2018, a duo who throw (vinyl only) house party style nights, at select venues and club nights, and was also a member of the CrateDigs crew, with his former radio show #thefridaygroove playing the best in funk, soul, disco, Hip Hop, rare groove and BBoy breaks weekly. 
He has also played on radio stations, The works, Foam, SWU, Rinse and has a monthly show on Soul Roots Radio. 

In 2023 he helped set up a DJ collective, putting on their own events and parties called Watch.sounds. 
Being a watch.sounds resident DJ has seen Fiddlestix play deep house at parties all over the south west of England.
