Club Kinetic resident and Vinyl Momentum Records boss DJ Demand is one of Hardcore's unsung pioneers. Likewise, an exceptional DJ, his energetic sets of Happy Hardcore, Bouncy Techno and Gabber caused pandemonium on dancefloors around the North West of England. He started producing in 1994, releasing many quality tracks on his own label, Vinyl Momentum. His early work being some of his most successful including the absolute monster of an anthem 'Dark & Light'. Cained by the likes of Slipmatt, Stu Allan and even the illustrious Carl Cox, this record just generates complete mayhem. With it's off-beat claps and bass, perpetual crashing cymbols and legendary use of Star Wars samples, it really is a stroke of genius. My personal favourite 'Hysteria' (named after the popular rave in Chester, strangely enough my first ever rave) is a more uplifting affair. The main riff on this record is just so happy and infectious, a legitimate crowd pleaser. However, Demand's biggest record is arguably 'Jump'In Pump'In'. From the outset, the track just instantly engages you. An uptempo kick, quirky tom-tom drum snippets and a bleepy electric bass builds up to the powerful reworking of Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark's 'Enola Gay' sample. This is absolute euphoria. A true Hardcore anthem.

She's rocked shows across the continent for 25+ years, spreading the love of Hardcore in a region where it's remained far from mainstream. These days you’ll catch her playing many different styles, as she can throw down a proper set of any genre from House and Techno to Hip Hop and Old Skool. Her creative mixing, scratching and energetic stage presence has made her a standout among the many artists of the industry. She'll mix music from yesterday and today along with original edits and tracks, making every set fun and unpredictable.
