I came into a room filled with unknown faces

I'm happy now because I had another dream
That dream came true and I never looked back
So here I am again chasing the dream I left behind

I've been stuck in the past and the world has passed me by
So many things have changed I sometimes just want to cry
The years pass so quickly so before I die
I need to reach inside and free the thoughts I hide

A powerfully healing song about fear, loss and grief - the beautiful, raw, acoustic guitar arpeggios brings forth gentle, pure and moving vocals.

"This song was inspired by a friend who is grieving the tragic loss of her child, Anderson," explains Melyssa Lee. "It embodies the pain and fear of losing someone close."

"I wanted to also help keep Anderson's memory alive so I dedicate this song to my friend Angela and to her son Anderson. It is a way for us to remember him and to honour a mother's grief. This song helps remind us to take in the moment... because who knows when it will be the last."

previous release, this song reveals reflections when we are
not there for a loved one's last moments. The acoustic
guitar lays foundation under poignantly powerful, yet
heartfelt vocals, introduced with a punchy electric guitar
riff that also ends the song like a maverick riding off in
the sunset.

"This song was written to be told like an old western
desert noir story," explains Melyssa Lee. "While it is a
story, it is more importantly a universal reflection on
what our previous interactions were with a loved one, when
we didn't know at the time that they would be the last."
