A sudden reversal of fortune.

This interlude is a reference to the time right before I was to leave for my final year of university to Coventry, UK. I had the good fortune of meeting some beautiful people with whom I made wholesome memories and meaningful relationships with, leaving me longing for tomorrows rather than resenting them. A time of my life I wish I could live in for eternity and one I look forward to manifesting.

Katherine Abbott is a free spirited folk singer/songwriter from Stratford-upon-Avon, England. She began writing songs as a teenager which led to pursuing a musical career through busking & performance, gigging in working mens clubs in Coventry and the West Midlands. Influenced by the likes of Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, and Bon Iver and inspired by the quest for freedom and the contrast between reality and dreams; Abbott composes songs on guitar that display poetic and thought provoking lyrical content with soulful vocal delivery. Abbott’s songs blend contemporary subject matter with classic folk songwriting to create something unique & captivating. Abbott has performed up and down the country playing acoustic sets at festivals including Glastonbury, Rollright Fayre and Secret Garden Party, and further afield, travelling to New Zealand and Australia & playing shows along the way.
