It is so spare and empty of information that it is like between the runs of a ladder where Buddhist philosophy says is the cathartic place, where all important information resides.

"Tracing Home" is the sequel to "Silica Daughters" and the closing track to @northfield-lenox's striking album, Crystal Radio (links below). There was a quality in the music that tugged something akin to an old Appalachian ballad out of me as I followed the tale of the two sisters where it wanted to go. Sometimes there's just no way home.

Helen thought the repeating piano phrase reminded her of an old fashioned treadle weaving loom. So the track is a sort of homage to those who laboured at these devices to create fabric and clothing for the masses. The painting is "Weaver" by Vincent Van Gogh.
