Hey Jens, das ist ja mal was ganz anderes! Aber wie von Dir gewohnt (und darin sehe ich den "klassischen Sieckmann") auf höchstem kompositorischen und handwerklichen Niveau. Ich finde es super und total spannend, wie Du Deine künstlerischen Grenzen auslotest und erweiterst. Das Intro, mit dem Eintauchen ins Meer, finde ich mega stark und Deine kreativen Ideen zur Symbiose der klassichen und synthetischen Elementen faszinierend (z.B. Stutter-Effect auf den Bläsern). Bei Dir sind selbst achteinhalb Minuten sehr kurzweilig.

An Immense admiration for this fantastic work. I really like the blend of orchestral and EDM. Bravo Jens! 👏

Talking Of Michelangelo (Resonance 1987)

I was a high-schooler, not yet able (if at all) to write decent lyrics. So I resorted to more or less famous poems, but also to short stories from which I cut out fragments and stitched them together. Under my scalpel also fell 'Superfluous Invitations', a short story by Dino Buzzati published in 1958 in 'Sixty Short Stories'. There is a version that I recovered from a 1977 tape , but I had the desire to replay and rearrange it a few time ago.

Lover of orchestral film scores and epic music.

I had started making music in the 90s with my Amiga 500 but it wasn't capable (me neither) of producing the sound of a whole orchestra.

The diverse musical expressions in filmscores have a bigger emotional impact than any other genre I can think of. My music is heavily inspired by the great composers around 1980-2000, like John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Basil Poledouris and Hans Zimmer.

With synthesizers, a whole new world of sound has entered the arena and merges with the orchestra to a fantastic sonic experience.

I try to tell stories and convey emotions in my pieces to take you onto a journey into unknown territory.
