Tatsächlich mal wieder was ganz Frisches aber das in der von Dir gewohnten extrem hohen Qualität. Ich find's großartig, wie technisch versiert, kreativ und mutig du diese Geschichte erzählt. Es ist so vielseitig und filmartig, wie Du nahtlos von leichtfüßigen Holzbläsern zu nachdenklichem Klavier und dann zur emotionalen Breitseite mit dem vollen Orchester springst. Auch die Soundkulisse und die atmosphärischen Pads passen ganz wunderbar. Hut ab, lieber Jens!

Wunderschön sanft und einfühlsam … der Klang von Stille, Traurigkeit, Trost und Zuversicht. Ein ganzes Spektrum an Emotionen. Großartig gemacht!

Sehr schön gebaut - fließend / eine Geschichte erzählend...

Ich ärgere mich gerade sehr über mich selbst. Ich war zu lange nicht auf deinem Kanal und habe deshalb wirklich musikalische Perlen verpasst, die ich erst heute höre. Bei dem Stück "Gone" schaffst du eine wirklich emotionale Atmosphäre, die sich im laufe des Stücks verändert. Meine Ohren hören im Stück am Anfang eine Art "Morgenerwachen", dann Traurigkeit und Leere, dann schien es mir, als ob die Flöten aufmuntern wollen. Höhepunkt des Stücks ist für mich der Teil, in dem Bläser und Harfe einsetzen und die Strings triolisch spielen. WOW! Die Soundauswahl mit dem Felt-Piano ist klasse und die Wellen, die am Anfang und Ende des Stücks zu hören sind schaffen eine zusätzlich tolle Atmosphäre und unterstreichen die Musik. Klasse, Jens ich bin "hin und wech". Bitte entschuldige den langen Kommentar, aber ich kann mich da einfach nicht kurz fassen. ;-)

Mike Benoit is a wonderful sound artist who reached out to me this year with the idea of taking some raw improv piano playing and reworking them to produce original tracks. This appealed to me because 1 - I ain't the greatest piano player so this was flattering and 2 - I spend so much of my time reworking other peoples sounds it would be awesome to be on the receiving end for a change : ) .The album features 4 tracks, each one originally recorded on a different piano then given the treatments by Mike.

Beyond the heaven

Lover of orchestral film scores and epic music.

I had started making music in the 90s with my Amiga 500 but it wasn't capable (me neither) of producing the sound of a whole orchestra.

The diverse musical expressions in filmscores have a bigger emotional impact than any other genre I can think of. My music is heavily inspired by the great composers around 1980-2000, like John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Basil Poledouris and Hans Zimmer.

With synthesizers, a whole new world of sound has entered the arena and merges with the orchestra to a fantastic sonic experience.

I try to tell stories and convey emotions in my pieces to take you onto a journey into unknown territory.
