Ich bin total begeistert! Deine Orchestrierung ist wie immer großartig aber mit diesen vielfältigen Szenen, Tonarten, Tempi und den makellosen Übergängen dazwischen (selbst in atonale Gefilde) lieferst Du eine unglaublich hohe, erzählerische Qualität. Man kann nicht anders, als den Kurzfilm dazu in seinem Kopf zu sehen. Danke für diese Inspiration!

Hallo Jens, ich hab mir den Track jetzt 2x angehört und bekomme vor Begeisterung den Mund nicht wieder zu. Du hast hier wirklich ein grandioses Werk geschaffen. Bevor ich mir deinen Track ein drittes Mal anhöre, sprühe ich mich aber vorsichtshalber mit Autan ein, damit ich nicht so oft gestochen werde. 😉 Soll heißen, die Story nimmt mich mit. Wow das ist wirklich ein Musterbeispiel , wie all die verschiedenen Klänge und Stimmung, die ein Orchester erzeugen kann, genutzt werden können! Dieses Stück ist eine rießige Inspiration auch bei meinen eigenen Stücken nochmal mit kritischerem Auge draufzuschauen, wie ich meine Orchestrierung zusammenstelle ! This piece tells the story of the unrequited love of the little mermaid for the prince, who never realized that the little mermaid was the one who saved his life from the shipwreck.

What was the best part of your childhood?  For me it was Scarborough Beach and playing the piano.  I also loved school.  Mostly because elementary school was a really fun place to be and there were so many things to do!  My inspiration for writing this song came from looking at a photo album of me and my daughters.  Precious times...

Lover of orchestral film scores and epic music.

I had started making music in the 90s with my Amiga 500 but it wasn't capable (me neither) of producing the sound of a whole orchestra.

The diverse musical expressions in filmscores have a bigger emotional impact than any other genre I can think of. My music is heavily inspired by the great composers around 1980-2000, like John Williams, Jerry Goldsmith, James Horner, Basil Poledouris and Hans Zimmer.

With synthesizers, a whole new world of sound has entered the arena and merges with the orchestra to a fantastic sonic experience.

I try to tell stories and convey emotions in my pieces to take you onto a journey into unknown territory.
