Trips down memory lane are great, especially when they come absolutely jam-packed with heat and energy like, this live recording from Naarm DJ, BDE when she took the stage for our MISCELLANIA return event in July earlier this year

Steadily making a name for herself in the underground of the Naarm techno scene, BDE is a DJ with a commanding stage presence and notoriously unrelenting performances. 

As Host of the Area3000 stable 'Rave Cave, ' DJ BDE explores her passion and nuance for finding new artists and love for music, trudging through the dark depths of techno to find the inspiration for her next set.

The Verdict brings together three composers, Tilleby, SinSonic, and adrianbluh, each interpreting a single musical idea through their own creative lens.

Tilleby begins with a contemplative piano piece, then reimagines it as an intricate IDM construction, bending rhythm and harmony into unexpected shapes. SinSonic delivers a bold Techno transformation, pulsing with precision and energy. Finally, adrianbluh dissolves the theme into a calm, weightless Ambient landscape.

Three minds, one motif, each arriving at a different conclusion. That’s The Verdict.

Jens Jakob is a boundary-pushing producer from Aalborg, Denmark, known for his relentless creativity and deep connection to the underground. With hundreds of tracks to his name, he’s carved out a distinct space across house, techno, trance, and breakbeat.

Jens Jakob studied electronic music at the Royal Academy of Music, earning a bachelor’s in Aalborg and a Master of Music (Cand. musicae) in Aarhus, combining academic depth with underground sensibility. His solo aliases include Tækno Jens, Slambert, and the psychedelic-leaning Toxic Scientist, exploring a wide sonic spectrum. He’s also one half of the collaborative duos Nordic Echoes and Apollo 420. Solo side-projects Sequency and Hope in Dope further push experimental and bass-infused boundaries.

As the founder of Unique Sound Records, he's not just creating tracks, he's building a universe. Whether solo or in collaboration, Jens Jakob's music fuses underground spirit with fearless exploration.
