The track "Be Happy" by the legendary Mary J. Blige is one that touched me personally and stood out to me both in terms of message and rhythm. Mary is impressive to me because she carries the swing of her music with her voice primarily instead of relying on the percussion. I took that very same concept and flipped it back on to myself; I let Mary's vocals guide my production at 93bpm, and this is what came out. Enjoy!

When I started this a few months ago, I didn’t know if it would become a track. What’s more, I never expected it to end up at 136bpm, be structured the way it is, or sound the way it did. I’m so proud of this because I had a blast making it, and even though it was the mother of all WIPs for such a long time, I feel like it’s the best start to my discography I could ask for right now. Thank you to all the unnamed fam for the track inspirations, thank you to everyone who supports me, and I hope you all enjoy!

Jephirsůn Danger is a core member of the northeast underground EDM scene and co-founder of Glyph Enterprises & the Guild. Formally a member of Rhythm Alliance, The Sanctuary, & Art Life Studios. Jephirsůn Danger has been a long time musician, songwriter, DJ, producer, and performer in the underground scenes ranging from hardcore metal and punk in the 90's and early 2000's expanding from New England to Nashville, and even South Korea. His exploration of DJing and production stared early in high school during the late 90's along side his passion for hip-hop, and electronic music. Music, production, and art have always been a passion and ambition for him as he traveled the US and internationally abroad exploring the vast range of cultural music that has since influenced his sound. He draws inspiration from all forms of music and culture in his creative approach to production and DJing, and it can be heard distinctly in his style and sound. His current focus in EDM music has been a range of genres including: psytrance, breakbeats, bass house, trap, future bass, & psydub.
