Josh's music captures a blend of the warmth of Southern California and the splendor of the Pacific Northwest. He moved to Los Angeles from Portland with his band at that time, LUX. Josh learned the craft of recording and engineering while self producing the bands record. The album brought a level of success to the band. LUX songs started playing on the radio, the band appeared on the cover of Max Muscle Magazine and opened for acts like Lynyrd Skynyrd. 

Josh left the band in 2005 to explore his musical potential and has been writing, performing, producing artists, and composing music for film, television, video games and other media platforms since. Highlights of his career include contributions to Grammy winning and Billboard Top 10 albums, Oscar nominated film scores, and Telly winning national ad campaigns.

Josh's debut solo album is set to release in the fall of 2014.
