Description: A track sketch made in 1992 (?) using just a Kawai K4 synthesizer with Cakewalk 4.0 software running on a PC. Only recorded, not produced. Definitely the Enum moniker didn't figure then, and the name "Collagen" was devised later in the context of the much more recent "Hypermobility" track (also found on SoundCloud).

Chillout, downtempo with a bit "cheap computer music" nuances. The mood is melancholic, of course. Very slow and lazy beat (80 bpm). Listen this and just imagine the story in this song: You are looking at the horizon and feeling something has gone and something new is becoming.

Solving Issues

The spirit brought me to an empty clearing in the forest with nothing around but a rough wooden sign that read “Welcome to Lamplight Village: Home for all Mages ”.  This was rather odd since there was nothing here but an empty field.  I went ahead and continued forward, and just as I passed the sign post a village illuminated with thousands of lamps began to materialize before me.  There was a river running through the town with multiple cobblestone bridges crossing over it.  People wearing dark cloaks were walking about, entering shops and restaurants, and keeping themselves very busy.  I was stunned by all of this.  I spotted two weary travelers entering an Inn across the bridge that was closest to me, and I recognized them.  I remembered seeing them from a distance back at the Mesa Settlement which seemed like ages ago.  I was curious what their story was, and I needed to rest anyway, so I headed on into the inn.

Composed entirely on iPad Pro in NanoStudio 2 using custom Obsidian patches created by sampling instruments from the expansion packs of various iOS apps such as Beathawk, iSymphonic, Garageband, Sampletank and Korg Module.
