Autogenesis is a project initiated by two individuals, both currently living in Berlin - living far away from home for way too long, who decided to investigate contemporary music making and music listening habits in the Global Age. It is a project born out a deep sense of loss and an overwhelming, but not paralyzing, pessimism. Fighting with all sorts of demons, it constantly dodges the pessimism and attempts to secure temporary locations, where creative music projects can coexist with other critical forms of personal and collective expression.

The mix has at least two ambitions: on the one hand, to present a personal collection of various manifestations of alterity, that one could also call ethno-chaos. It is definitely not about harmonizing them or neutralizing their differences, but rather to enunciate and acknowledge the difference. On the other hand, they also wanted to see how these tracks could speak to each other beyond their musical (aesthetic) aspects. Also, many of the tracks in the mix deal with some sort of translation, even if failed or partial ones, they want to make the unknown, more known, and try to do so by presenting one language in terms of another. This goes from the first track by Carmen Miranda (heroically interrupted by Elysia Crampton) to the last track by Violeta Parra, composed during her forced stay in Paris in the 60s, giving the image of long lost and personal Chile.

Music may have no borders, especially when shared in bytes, but many of those making it are still being oppressed by forces that need to be put down, and it is precisely for this that we believe creative productions should not be dehistoricized from the actual structures in which they came to be.

After a complete setup failure with my dj gear I had to scramble to find some CDJs to use and plug everything in to play in time. Nothing like an emergency to get the heart pumping!

It meant that I didn't get to use my preferred layers and fx that make my deeper sets more individual but I still had fun playing and the crowd were in fine spirits with the sun out and twinkles in their eyes!

The Lucky Star zone is really a special place in the festival, where all the best connections take place and everyone is family. I love you Lucky Star!!

Enigmatic, unconventional DJ and producer from the north of Poland travelling across the country to share dimensions of sound, love and emotions with people. His experience and eclectic approach allows him to perfectly fit into the climate prevailing in a given place, blurring the boundaries between the artist and the listener.

This EP is inspired by the author's lucid dreams.
First track 'Iluvia de Baile' is reffering to the tribe dancing and singing in order to summon rain.
Second track 'Soñar' is inspired by an attempt to escape from a dream that was an unsuccessful journey into the depths of consciousness and finished with sleep paralysis.
Third track 'Memoria' was created as a result of imagining the world in which Salvador & Gala Dali lived and the whole relationship beetween them, which was beautiful but also tragic in consequences...

You can also find here Kapoor's 'Catching sun' interpretation which gives 'Soñar' fresh soulful oriental breath.

Da brodelt es aber diesesmal ordentlich in der heimlichen Gerüchteküche! Alle Ventile stehen auf Anschlag, die Kessel pfeiffen und tief unten im Topf braut sich langsam aber stetig Druck auf. 

Der Druckanzeiger am Deckel voll im roten Bereich und wir wundern uns weshalb es immer nebliger in der Küche wird. Vor lauter Dampf merken wir gar nicht, dass uns der Kopf in die Hose rutscht und das Herz unter dem Arm liegt. Oder war das anders herum? Naja, mittlerweile auch schon egal, es wird ja eh nichts so heiss gegessen wie es gekocht wird.

Jedenfalls lichtet sich der aufgestiegene Dampf langsam wieder und siehe da, es kocht heute iorie, wer hätte das gedacht <3

Joaquín Cornejo - Aire Feat. Felipe Cornejo

'' It all began in Afrika, but this track was actually made on two cold winter nights at the Positive Reality studio in Ljubljana (Slovenia). 
It's a story of coincidences and love between two people but also the love of music and brotherhood. Haris and Al felt in love the first time they meet, it was in the summer of 2016 at the Goulash Disco festival and an idea of maybe producing something together one day was born. Then Al meet a beautiful girl from Slovenia and decided to go visit her in the fall of 2016. And when in Slovenia he reached out to Haris to spend a few nights at the comfort of his studio to see where the music would take them. And as you can hear it took them to Afrika and beyond following the footsteps of dubby baselines and funky beats. They had a feeling something was missing so they ask their friend Nej Supan to came by to add some trumpet recordings for the dynamic duo to process in their Samplistic manner. Then, the story continues because the track was laying in the hard drive for two years plus, until one week before release Al finally thought that the upcoming COSMOVISION release could be the right place to let the public finally have access to this hidden gem. Mr Don Mescal was delighted with the vibe of the track and things moved quickly as they can nowadays in the digital age. 
One week later the track was released via the bandcamp, after passing thru the capable hands of Nathan Hall on the mastering

Cosmovision Records presents ¨Elements of These Lands¨

We started as a group of music producers in Montréal, immigrants from Latin America, Europe and friends from Canada, we wanted to reinterpret the elements of this land, from North America such as: nature, native cultures, artistic forms and others. This woke a great interest from artists from all over the world, thing that finally lead to our compilation ¨Element of These Lands¨, in plural, adding a big tribe of friends from all over the world which today are part of our artistic essence, a multi cultural collective.

Our proposal is to make music that evokes respect and consciousness about nature, which understand our cultural differences as a great value for us. We look to go beyond the act of pushing buttons to create digital music, on the other side, we want to inspire ourselves as a collective and invite to reflect about the elements of our land, elements that sometimes western culture forgets, but through art we can analyze, reinterpret and value.

Our first compilation has cultural influences from: Canada, Mexico, France, Chile, Turkey, Belgium, Colombia, Lebanon, Switzerland, Italy and Argentina. 
We want to thank all the producers evolved in this compilation and our artist Mathieu Bories, visual genius of our collective; also everyone who have believed in us and never forgetting you, the people who download and share these voices which are echoes from the land itself, that through artists sing to us to generate awareness of our roots and the elements of our land.
