I'm a designer, producer, researcher, and media artist with over 30 years of expertise in all aspects of digital and interactive media. My early work in the 1980s at Lucasfilm Ltd. includes pioneering research, design and production on innovative multimedia projects that launched the interactive digital world we take for granted today. While there, I worked with partners including the National Geographic Society, the National Audubon Society, and Apple; and was one of the designers on the team that created the first modern, object-oriented  non-linear digital video editing system.

Later projects include award-winning radio documentary, laserdiscs, CD-ROMs, DVDs, and a nationally acclaimed, transmedia publishing venture funded by Paul Allen. I'm a founding member of Stretcher, a collective of San Francisco Bay Area artists and art critics who have published the online art magazine stretcher.org since 2001; and an associate and co-founder of Public Matters, an LA-based multidisciplinary project team with expertise in public art, education, new media, community building, capacity building, and youth leadership development.

I currently work as a producer, media artist, researcher, and videographer. I'm a frequent creative collaborator with other media artists and have produced video installations for exhibition in galleries and museums nationally and internationally. My most current work includes a stereoscopic 3D experimental narrative short, written and directed by video artist Dale Hoyt; as well as groundbreaking production research in 360-degree stereoscopic 3D VR cinematography for Google.
