Written for and performed at the 2015 Charlotte New Music Festival and Dance Co-Lab.  Collaborated with Allie Nunweiler for the dance that goes with the music and written for the Great Noise Ensemble; Sacha Place, fl; Katherine Kellert, cl; Francesca Hurst, pno; Shawn Galvin, perc with Armando Bayolo conducting.  The voices heard are the dancers of the piece, Amanda Rentschler, Claire Nagy-Kato, Malanah Hobgood and Yemi Wrenn.

This May Be Uncomfortable, But Please Don't Show Your Discomfort

Written in the fall of 2014, this string quartet is dedicated to my parents, Barry and Mickey Parel.  They always tell me to write beautiful music, this was my attempt at it.  Premiered at ShenArts Council Nov. 8th 2015 by Eli Thomas and Samantha Allen - Violins; Sam Marsico - Viola; Michael Puryear - Cello.  Recorded by David Angell.
