Following Amanda’s performance at the Pan American Festivities in Guadalajara, the FIFA World Cup Festivities in South Africa, Toronto’s Koerner Hall, the Montreal Jazz Festival, and New York’s iconic Blue Note club, Amanda is quickly garnering international acclaim. Her trademark warm vocals, and melodies rich with her Mexican/South African heritage, have made hers the sought-after voice for4 of Putumayo’s world music compilations.  Amanda was invited to tour with Juno award winner Jesse Cook from Dubai to New York City and featured on his award winning CD, Frontiers. 

Her latest album Libre follows 3 acclaimed albums which have all received accolades. Amor her second cd rose to number one on iTunes World Music charts and her 3rd album was produced by Grammy winning Javier Limon. She has received three-time nominations  as Latin Jazz Artist of the Year at Canada’s National Jazz Awards and a win for her debut album Sola as Best World Music Artist at Toronto’s Independent Music Awards. She also captured the Emerging Artist Award from FACTOR in 2009, 2012 and 2018.

Amanda is also recognized for her radio and television appearances including a 3 year hosting spot with Toronto’s JAZZFM91 on their Latin Jazz show and appearances on Canada AM, BRAVO Arts & Minds, StarTV! and Entertainment Tonight Canada. She has also been featured in acting roles on tv including Regenesis, Disney’s Life with Derek, Designated Survivor and Suits.

Amanda’s world class sextet includes guitarist Kevin Laliberte (Jesse Cook), bassist Drew Birston (Chantal Kraviazuk), percussionist Rosendo “Chendy” Leon (Jesse Cook), trumpeter Alexander Brown, and violinist Osvaldo Rodriguez. From trio to sextet, Amanda performs intimate shows to main-stage festivals and performing arts centers such as the Four Seasons Centre for Performing Arts, National Arts Centre, L’Astral, and Koerner Hall.

Jake Fairley aka Fairmont is an electronic music producer, live performer and DJ from Toronto, Canada. He began his career in the early 2000s making records under his own name for labels such as Kompakt, Sender and Cocoon. However, it was his 2005 smash-hit Gazebo under his Fairmont pseudonym that solidified him as a heavyweight in the global underground scene. Released on James Holden's Border Community label, Gazebo sold 20,000 vinyl copies and made Fairmont a household name. Since Gazebo Fairmont has released 2 albums and several EPs. Recent releases such as Carthage (MFRR 2016) Shadows Of Mine (Suara 2017) and Brothers Keeper (Bedrock 2018) have been big club hits, getting played by such DJs as Maceo Plex, John Digweed, Sasha, Dixon etc.
