Very chill experiential moment in times...

Growing up with a guitar and classical music I made the obvious progression to the Beatles, Bob Marley etc before moving on to Jimi Hendrix, the Doors and other experimental things. Punk rock came next in the form of Bad Religion and No FX being a favourite out of the skater punk but RATM, the Beastie Boys and early Cyprus Hill were on high rotation. At regular bush doofs i first experienced the Psy Trance and started to search for more listenable electronic music. Traveling around Europe for 14mths with my Nylon string many hours were spent playing, listing and developing my guitar with the buskers and musos primarily from Barcelona. Manu Chao was a massive influences and I had the great pleasure of watching him dance to my rhythms at an after hours jam room until my fingers bleed from the 3/4 inch steel string I was strumming.

Finding a crate of records and acquiring a set of belt driven turntables (which I soon swapped for a car) from a couch suffer turned non rent paying flatmate. This spurred on a quest for Vinyl from the dust bins of Vinnies and hoc shops down the coast where i found rare funk and disco to the infamous Spank where fresh electro cost me dearly but entertained me greatly. After jamming out on MPCs, Korg samplers and drum machines the era of computer based production was now at our finger tips. Learning the Ableton ropes on a PC I finally have a MacBook Pro and can move onto the next phase of music production.

Currently working on tracks for a live set which will mash electronic and organic sounds and include live guitar, synth and vocals.

The playlist found here 'World is your...' forms an ambient EP which would go nicely with a session of yoga or something...
