'In Control' is a collection of electronic dance music, performed live with a Behringer BCR2000 and a Novation Launchpad.

8 tracks of stems, taken from over 20 deconstructed original compositions, remixed live on the fly with a battery of effects, then polished until they shine.

Mostly house, sometimes not. Mostly nice, sometimes nasty. Please to be enjoying.

It's time to groove. Luke and Olly are the Cardiff boys who are not to be slept on. Rising to the spotlight after huge work with The XX, Sampha and London Grammar, their releases have had support from the the house music game far and wide and with future releases on 2020 Vision, Pictures Music, Universal, Atlantic, Virgin and Warner it seems that these boys are destined for big things. Jam packed with house grooves, this is Bodhi's music to make you groove. Get into it! You gotta let the bodhi groove, make the bodhi move.

Having collaborated with the Duke himself on his number one summer anthem, I Got U, the South London based, self-schooled multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and producer has stepped up with his debut single Go Deep and is here to take you deeper. Jumping in the mix exclusively for i-D press play on the big sound of the blasé boy Jax Jones.

"This is a mix i've put together to Go Deep to. 
It has a few tracks that are getting into my DJ sets at the moment and as well some oldies but goldies. There is also a special dub edit of my track Go Deep. It was made by my good pal Tommy Forrest who also mixed 'I Got U' for Duke and I. Definitely had a boogie whilst mixing this!"

Jax Jones: Music To... Go Deep To

Perhaps its the colder weather, the lack of sun, or the unknown of tomorrow, but these past few months have left me in a bit of a creative rut. My album is so close to completion that finding ways to push forward into new territories musically has been challenging in a way I haven't experienced before. The weight of finishing "the album" has been weighing heavily on me, but I can say that I'm finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. As it usually does, the hope was sparked by a trip to the desert a couple of weeks ago. The nights are bitterly cold there this time of year, but every day, the sun returns to thaw the world back to life. Walking around Joshua Tree that day, soundtracked by these songs, the sun beating back the cold, it became so clear that there is hope and that music really can cure all. I'm happy to share that soundtrack with all of you today in this mix. Hopefully it can give you some hope too. 

A huge thank you to all of the artists' music that I used. Everyone should check the tracklist below and be sure to take a minute to listen to their music.
