Jeremy Carter is a 35+ year veteran of the bass guitar.

He began playing bass professionally at the age of 8 with his dad's traveling Southern Gospel Quartet - The Gospel Singing Messengers. The group played out about 30 weekends per year and recorded albums about every two years.

In high school, Jeremy was introduced to Jazz and also began playing in garage rock and country bands (Top Priority, Inside Out, The Time Travelers, Jason Pitts & The Pitt Crew). Through his college years he began doing recording sessions and gigging with bands in all genres. In The late 90's he co-founded the Brooks Brothers Jazz Quintet (see audio samples).

He developed a reputation as one of the finest bassists in Central Indiana, and has been showcased often on the YouTube channel for Oakbrook Church.

Now in Nashville, Jeremy plays regularly for Tiffany Turner & Co (R&B/Soul) and Wildcat Creek (Classic Country), and was a founding member of Ellington Parkway Jazz Quartet. He also plays at area churches and sits in occasionally with Tiger Gagan's Wild Animal blues-rock band as well as Larry Frick's country band.
